One of the most popular personal development topics is “how to discover your purpose.” It seems everyone is trying to figure out what they are meant to do or be.
The thing is, you may be one, like myself at one point, who believes that there is one big purpose for you in this life and because you don’t think you’ve found it yet, it causes you to feel stress and frustration. You may feel down because you feel unfulfilled in what you are currently doing, yet you don’t know what you “should” be doing to fulfill your purpose. There are a rare few who do, in fact, come into this life for one primary purpose, but for most of us, our life translates into having many smaller, yet still extremely significant purposes. Perhaps you can relate. In your desperation for answers and direction, you may ask for guidance from God, but believe that you are not receiving any answers. You may wonder why God isn’t helping you or you may blame yourself for not being tuned in enough to receive guidance and answers to what you are meant to do.

Actually, the original, full title of this article is, “Yes, I'm Spiritual, You Idiot!”: The Art of Balancing a Spiritual Life with Your Physical Life. I thought that this title is a pretty accurate illustration of the reality of this life for most having this human experience. You know you are a part of something greater and you seek to connect with it, but it can be quite difficult to maintain it.
You may read books that inspire a spiritual awakening, remind you to be mindful, help you to accept yourself and the moment, or understand the power of your thoughts. These books do help to bring you into the energy of amazing grace and greater joy, but then, as many say, "life happens." Someone cuts you off while driving, your kids push your buttons, your boss makes you feel undervalued, and suddenly all that “Zen” you felt goes out the window and you are calling someone a jerk or yelling at your kids. You've "lost it." But did you really lose that spiritual connection? Where and why did it go? You know that you are a "spiritual Have you noticed certain patterns of events or circumstances happening over and over in your life?
Perhaps you keep ending up in the same type of bad relationships or getting betrayed by someone you trust. Maybe you keep encountering difficult people and you wonder why it is that someone is always giving you a “hard time.” Or maybe you are a woman who has had multiple unsuccessful pregnancies, while others seem immediately able to conceive without any issues. And you find yourself asking, “Why does this keep happening to me?” In one of the sessions with Spirit, from the book Love is the Seed: Teachings from the Spirit World they describe the human experience as a series of psychodramas. These psychodramas are created before birth for the sake of learning. They are created for two purposes: to resolve a debt (karma) or for the act of love, and in both cases are out of love. A first step to improving your life and transforming aspects that are not benefiting you is recognizing these Notebook #28 Page 7 - Unpublished Session
Through love you are your natural self. Love-given is the law of creation, the truth of creation that is natural and most creative. Psychologists, psychiatrists, doctors, therapists, have in your time treated what is wrong or perceived wrong with life forms. If the approach to the situation was to look for what is right, then one would seek through love and look for the response to love. That exists as a part of all. This approach accomplishes many positive cures both for the therapist and the patient. Love is the order by which all are equal in God's eyes. --- You are free to share this or any part of this article as long as you link back to and credit this blog article.- www.LoveIsTheSeed.com. Wednesday, September 8, 1982 Session 233 This is a Wise One. I Am That I Am. I am the truth. I am that which exists in all. I am the light. I am the creator of all. I am the lover of all. I am the Christ. I am the Buddha. I am all that is truth. I am Love. Love is a part and a seed of all. Love is that which binds all. We are one. I am the All. Patiently I wait for the each to understand that they are no more or less than the All. Patiently, I understand that which is of me is infinite. Patiently with love I wait for the atonement. Patiently with love, compassion, understanding, I wait for the resurrection, patiently with patience, with love, with understanding, I wait at the separation of end and the truth to manifest. I Am the truth. I Am the light, when love is given freely without expectations; when love is lived with truth and wisdom; when love is that which one seeks to give, then the separation ceases and atonement begins.
