What does it mean to have a self-evolving free will personality and is the soul always a part of this personality? This is one of those questions that I have been personally curious about for quite some time because in the sessions documented in Love is the Seed, the souls and Wise Ones spoke about the personality being a self-evolving free will personality, but then I wondered “How?” and “where does the soul fit into all of this and how can a personality be “self-evolving” and not be a part of the soul’s evolvement. In one of the sessions with Spirit, they say, Now the human personality is evolving at the time of birth without the help of the soul. The soul will not normally enter the human role and work with the personality until the child reaches the age of reason. What this says, from my understanding of this and other messages revealed within the sessions, is that the soul is always a part of the human, giving life to the human and helping to guide the personality—which has its own free will—yet it is not often consciously called upon or ready to make contact with the personality until the child is at an age of reason, as they say. This age is around the age of seven years old. They go on to explain how the personality relates to its environment and to the body, which can explain a little about how the personality is self-evolving. It reads, The human personality relates to the body through various energy centers in the body normally respond to physical realities known to it. Now the thinking personality can be controlled or driven by these energy centers that relate to physical and nature environment and make or drive the personality. This type of personality will respond to its environment not knowing that it has the power to, through mind, change those circumstances. The human personality in most situations is taught and guided by other human personalities and will respond in a human personality way based upon what they have been taught. So then, where does the soul come in, you might wonder. What was explained is that: However, the personality as it goes through life and thinks and reasons will ask questions, and when those questions do not find acceptable answers, the human personality will begin the reach within to greater and lesser degrees. The soul will send forth mind responses and images and thoughts and make a connection with the human personality to greater and lesser degrees at this time. Now much contact is made in the sleep and dream state when the body is at rest and the energy centers in the body are at rest, and the personality, which is eternal, is not at rest but is learning, experiencing, and creating, a most free time for most human personalities. The human personality incidentally orders that it remember all its experiences for as long as they are valid and necessary to evolutionary growth. The human personality when dreaming or meditating will get some contact with greater realities. (OR their Greater Self; their soul) This is all a part of the evolutionary process. The soul is going through a like process and remembers through the human personality all that it needs to evolve effectively. So, what this says is that contained within the memory of the soul are all of the experiences through the human personalities experiences that are relevant to its evolvement. This one was really fascinating for me. I hope it was for you as well. How can knowing the truth of love change your life, starting today (this very moment)? “The wisest understand that what is created from the heart, the honest integrity from within given freely to all, receives back the same multiplied many times.” – Wise Guide, Saturday, June 12, 1982 Session 185 This type of message was repeated within the sessions with spirit many times. In fact, it is one of the core teachings within the book. To say this another way, “A love given is a love received. That is a just solution for life.” One passage from Notebook #38 in the book specifically reads, “In one way or another, a love given is a love received. A love held closely is a love held closely. There, in love, lies justice, what we give so shall we receive.” This is what they say is the truth of how love works. That love is “just.” So, what does this mean? How can knowing this change our lives here and now? There are many ways in which this question can be answered and this video can get really long, so I will share one of the most important aspects of this and how it can change our lives. It comes from understanding how “a love given is a love received” works. “Love given” is a divine energy that flows all throughout life. It is only through the energy of “love-given” that things function smoothly in life. What is most incredible to understand about this aspect of love-given and love held closely is this idea that no matter what, what you give out is returned to you. So, let’s say for instance, you have a falling out with a friend and you come to a place where you’re ready to try to make amends and you try to communicate with your friend. But let’s say that your friend is not receptive to anything you say and do to heal the relationship. You have given out of love, freely, but it is not being received with an open heart and reciprocated. Most times our response is anger or disappointment because we are being nice, and we are not receiving a positive response back. But here’s where “a love given is a love received” is so amazing in how it works. Although we are giving out of love to this other person and they are not giving the same back is irrelevant within this idea of “a love given is a love received” because… the way that the energy of love works is that whatever you put out there, is held in this sort of vortex, and it will naturally seek like energy to return back to you. It may not be in a form of a relationship or from this other person, but nonetheless, what you have given out is carried through this energy and returned back to you. Imagine: When you give out of a loving heart, know that no matter what, it is always returned to you. That’s the beauty about love-given—this energy will always find like energy to give back to you. And THAT is freeing! As always, relax in the knowing. --- You are free to share this or any part of this article as long as you link back to and credit this blog article. - www.LoveIsTheSeed.com. Why must we understand “thought” in the evolution of our soul and in this shared reality that is our life on Earth? What we know from the sessions with Spirit, documented in Love is the Seed—and if we just think about our lives—we realize that it is thoughts that create our reality, OR what we perceive our reality to be. It is said within Love is the Seed that: “Thought creates each experience and in fact makes each experience what it is.” That this human experience is a dream, and in this dream, we are creating what we experience through our thoughts—good or bad. It was said in one session that: This is the dream of consciousness and when one on Earth sleeps or meditates, one is closer to reality than when one is experiencing the experience.” What this means is that true reality lies within who we are authentically as “soul;” not the reality in which we live here in this human experience, which is temporary, like a dream that the soul has created for the sake of learning, growing and evolving. As one of the core teachings within the book, Love is the Seed, it is expressed how our thoughts can live on forever in the memory of the soul. That: "When the soul is focused within any reality it is focused by the method of thought creation, the infinite law of God, and truth says that which is created through thought lives forever as a free will creation.” What this means is that if we think enough of the same thoughts here in this human experience that cause the same types of emotions, that this thought-energy can be stored in the memory of the soul until we learn enough through the thought energy to release it. As expressed in Love is the Seed on page 139: “To hang onto a thought is to remain in a particular energy field for as long as the thought is hung onto. So, when you hang onto a negative thought, you will stay in this low-level energy field until that thought is let go. Like with all creations, thoughts themselves become multidimensional within their own vibrational level and live on within there.” For example, let’s say that stored within the memory of your soul is a thought-energy of low self-worth. To learn to the truth of love, beyond this thought-energy, you then come into this life and are presented with experiences in which it sparks these thoughts and feelings of low self-worth, in order for you to seek the truth of who you really are and your connection to love and God. How can we see the “Love” when bad things happen and how can we find greater peace? One of the core teachings that came through the sessions documented in Love is the Seed is that all are created equal in the eyes of God. You may find it difficult to see God in others and wonder how God has created all equally and all out of love, when there are those out there who create devastation, spread hate and harm others. How can they possibly be created equally and out of the same energy of divine love that you were created? The thing is, and as was reflected by the souls and wise ones who spike in Love is the Seed, there are layers upon layers of history, beliefs, man-made structures, laws and a collective unconsciousness that exists… and this can be especially difficult to accept. It can be easy to overlook the love that exists each day and in each person. Yet love will, nonetheless, always reveal itself. It can be as simple as a small gesture of kindness or selflessness—of giving without the expectation of receiving anything in return. We have a story—many stories, in fact, over lifetimes. And each lifetime, a self-evolving personality as a part of our soul. Within this particular lifetime, you are born into a different set of circumstances, physical body, environment and upbringing. Regardless of appearance, color, race, dialect, level of intelligence and social status, whether described as a “good person” or a “bad person,” who speaks “too soft” or “too harsh,” “too loud” or “too quiet,” whatever the belief or reality may be, you, and each, are created equally in the eyes of God. This core teaching that all are created equally in the eyes of God, is important to understand because it speaks to the divine justice of this life. Each day, we share your space with millions of souls each on their own journey of self-discovery and learning, and each at their own level of knowing, within the evolution of soul. This means that inevitably our life is full of contrast—good things, bad things, good people and bad people. So, all are created equally in the eyes of God because all—no matter “good” or “bad”— are created with love at the seed and each living out their justice. And this justice is always given out of divine love. If you want to read more, you can find references to this question throughout Love is the Seed. The Empowerment of God’s Love: Create a Life of Greater Joy and Peace
A Relationship to Psalm 23 Throughout different points in my life, including as a child, I believed that there is a “bigger calling” that most of us have and that we live this life, partly, to uncover and live out this calling, which is unique for us all. Because of various spiritual experiences I had growing up, I felt that this “bigger calling” related, for me, as sharing the empowerments we are given through Divine Love. I rarely attended any one church consistently growing up, nor did I affiliate with any specific denomination, yet there was always a “presence” I felt, which called at me, for what I can only describe as “more.” After a series of challenging experiences in my life, I was led to uncover what this “more” was—or at least I was starting to get a clearer glimpse of it. UNCOVERING MY “MORE” This “more” eventually manifested for me as being led to write two books back-to-back (within a period of a few months) on God’s love and the empowerments that are bestowed upon us. Those two books became Love is the Seed: Teachings from the Spirit World and The Three Supreme Gifts: A Practical Approach to Self-Mastery and to Transforming Your Life Here and Now. The Three Supreme Gifts provides a clear path and an in depth understanding of the three supreme truths introduced in Love is the Seed, which are love, thought and free will. WHAT I DISCOVERED ABOUT THESE THREE SUPREME GIFTS What I discovered as I pursued this path to understanding the three supreme gifts is that these gifts alone encompass all aspects of our life in a way that once they are understood, they can completely shift our life into the direct path in alignment with the light of love, grace, mercy and compassionate wisdom that is God. THE THREE STORIES OF OUR LIFE I often talk about how there are three stories of our lives: the story we write, the story being written through us and the story that we can co-write with God. As a part of these stories, we have love, thought and free will, that together, empower us to create greater joy and peace for ourselves and to be of benefit to others. What greater gift that God has given than to give us the empowerment to create a life of our choosing and be a support as our “Shepherd”. EMPOWERMENT WITHIN PSALM 23 When I first came upon this particular passage in the Bible, Psalm 23, and read it line by line, I came upon the phrase “green pastures.” In my mind, I pictured a lush landscape of soft green vegetation. Yet, what is interesting is that in much of the landscape in Israel, for example, where the shepherds are tending their flock, it is rare to see much of anything green, yet they call it “green pastures.” The symbology of these landscapes speaks directly to God’s love and guidance. In the desert, it rains very little, yet just enough rain comes each year to allow handfuls of grass to grow sparsely through the rocks. As the shepherds lead their sheep through this landscape, they know that it will provide enough food for the flock. What we can learn from this symbolic environment called “green pastures” is that the shepherd will always guide the flock to what they need for that moment—not some undefined time in the future, but for that moment, knowing too that wherever they go in the future, all will be provided for in the right way and right timing. Isn’t that how God works in our life as well? As our Shepherd, we, too, shall not want. It is a beautiful passage that speaks to the very foundation of God’s love that guides us in our life, providing us what we need in the moment. It is a passage that can encourage us to look at this very moment as a gift and not stress about what we may or may not get in the future. We can rest and relax in the knowing that God provides and is always our greatest guide. Despite the fact that we are not sheep (sheep are not known as the smartest of God’s creations) we, too, need to have faith in and depend on the love, grace, mercy and guidance of God. “Love is the seed.
