The Empowerment of God’s Love: Create a Life of Greater Joy and Peace
A Relationship to Psalm 23 Throughout different points in my life, including as a child, I believed that there is a “bigger calling” that most of us have and that we live this life, partly, to uncover and live out this calling, which is unique for us all. Because of various spiritual experiences I had growing up, I felt that this “bigger calling” related, for me, as sharing the empowerments we are given through Divine Love. I rarely attended any one church consistently growing up, nor did I affiliate with any specific denomination, yet there was always a “presence” I felt, which called at me, for what I can only describe as “more.” After a series of challenging experiences in my life, I was led to uncover what this “more” was—or at least I was starting to get a clearer glimpse of it. UNCOVERING MY “MORE” This “more” eventually manifested for me as being led to write two books back-to-back (within a period of a few months) on God’s love and the empowerments that are bestowed upon us. Those two books became Love is the Seed: Teachings from the Spirit World and The Three Supreme Gifts: A Practical Approach to Self-Mastery and to Transforming Your Life Here and Now. The Three Supreme Gifts provides a clear path and an in depth understanding of the three supreme truths introduced in Love is the Seed, which are love, thought and free will. WHAT I DISCOVERED ABOUT THESE THREE SUPREME GIFTS What I discovered as I pursued this path to understanding the three supreme gifts is that these gifts alone encompass all aspects of our life in a way that once they are understood, they can completely shift our life into the direct path in alignment with the light of love, grace, mercy and compassionate wisdom that is God. THE THREE STORIES OF OUR LIFE I often talk about how there are three stories of our lives: the story we write, the story being written through us and the story that we can co-write with God. As a part of these stories, we have love, thought and free will, that together, empower us to create greater joy and peace for ourselves and to be of benefit to others. What greater gift that God has given than to give us the empowerment to create a life of our choosing and be a support as our “Shepherd”. EMPOWERMENT WITHIN PSALM 23 When I first came upon this particular passage in the Bible, Psalm 23, and read it line by line, I came upon the phrase “green pastures.” In my mind, I pictured a lush landscape of soft green vegetation. Yet, what is interesting is that in much of the landscape in Israel, for example, where the shepherds are tending their flock, it is rare to see much of anything green, yet they call it “green pastures.” The symbology of these landscapes speaks directly to God’s love and guidance. In the desert, it rains very little, yet just enough rain comes each year to allow handfuls of grass to grow sparsely through the rocks. As the shepherds lead their sheep through this landscape, they know that it will provide enough food for the flock. What we can learn from this symbolic environment called “green pastures” is that the shepherd will always guide the flock to what they need for that moment—not some undefined time in the future, but for that moment, knowing too that wherever they go in the future, all will be provided for in the right way and right timing. Isn’t that how God works in our life as well? As our Shepherd, we, too, shall not want. It is a beautiful passage that speaks to the very foundation of God’s love that guides us in our life, providing us what we need in the moment. It is a passage that can encourage us to look at this very moment as a gift and not stress about what we may or may not get in the future. We can rest and relax in the knowing that God provides and is always our greatest guide. Despite the fact that we are not sheep (sheep are not known as the smartest of God’s creations) we, too, need to have faith in and depend on the love, grace, mercy and guidance of God. “Love is the seed. Each of the following quotes is taken from Love is the Seed: Teachings from the Spirit World You know where you are and what you need. There is a time that you can no longer struggle for your answer but must just be and accept, so the answer may unfold. – Love is the Seed: Teachings from the Spirit World Spirit reminds us that we have all that we need to find the answers that we seek. Our natural tendency to seek answers outside of ourselves. When we do this, it brings up feelings of stress and worry, taking us, in fact, farther from the answers that we seek. Answers are always found within you. (Try this simple heart meditation practice>) There are many a number of paths and yet where it is, is now. God can be reached now, the channels are there, the frequencies are there, and the truth is there. And each touch upon that truth in their life fleetingly, but each do. – Love is the Seed: Teachings from the Spirit World This is one of my favorite passages in Love is the Seed: Teachings from the Spirit World. For all seeking answers, a closer connection to “something greater,” and those wondering if they are on the right path, know there is no one right path to one specific destination. God can be reached now, and you will find this truth within yourself. When one looks for their answers from mankind one shall receive their answers from mankind. When one looks for their answers from God, one shall receive their answers from God. God is always reconciled and found from within. – Love is the Seed: Teachings from the Spirit World If you have ever found yourself confused and torn when making an important decision, I can guarantee that you were trying to make the decision based only on external factors. While it can be beneficial to gain inspiration from others to find answers—whether you were seeking the answer from what others were doing or saying should be done—ultimately the most natural solution is one in which you find within. Love is evolving to understand that the justice in the soul's heart, mind, and vision is that which the soul shall have. In one way or another, a love given is a love received. A love held closely is a love held closely. Therein lies justice; what we give so shall we receive. – Love is the Seed: Teachings from the Spirit World To understand this one concept alone, you are farther in your understanding and enlightenment than you likely realize. This goes back to the very foundation of all creation—the concept of “love-given.” That which you give out is returned to you. What is held closely—or “done solely for the ‘self’” helps no one, including oneself. ---

I have worked with children of all ages and I am also a parent. It occurred to me one day as I was speaking that the things that we say to our children are the same things that God says to us every day in one form or another.
We depend on God for love, comfort, support, guidance and answers. We depend on God to console us when we are sad, to calm us when we are angry, to give us security when we are fearful and to give us peace when we are stressed. “Love is understanding that each element is contributing to each element and that all are created equally in God's eyes. That God is in each and each is a part of God.” – Love is the Seed: Teachings from the Spirit World What God says that we say to our children: Actually, the original, full title of this article is, “Yes, I'm Spiritual, You Idiot!”: The Art of Balancing a Spiritual Life with Your Physical Life. I thought that this title is a pretty accurate illustration of the reality of this life for most having this human experience. You know you are a part of something greater and you seek to connect with it, but it can be quite difficult to maintain it.
You may read books that inspire a spiritual awakening, remind you to be mindful, help you to accept yourself and the moment, or understand the power of your thoughts. These books do help to bring you into the energy of amazing grace and greater joy, but then, as many say, "life happens." Someone cuts you off while driving, your kids push your buttons, your boss makes you feel undervalued, and suddenly all that “Zen” you felt goes out the window and you are calling someone a jerk or yelling at your kids. You've "lost it." But did you really lose that spiritual connection? Where and why did it go? You know that you are a "spiritual Unpublished Session from Love is the Seed: Teachings from the Spirit World
Wednesday, September 8, 1982 Session 233 This is a Wise One. I Am That I Am. I am the truth. I am that which exists in all. I am the light. I am the creator of all. I am the lover of all. I am the Christ. I am the Buddha. I am all that is truth. I am Love. Love is a part and a seed of all. Love is that which binds all. We are one. I am the All. Patiently I wait for the each to understand that they are no more or less than the All. Patiently, I understand that which is of me is infinite. Patiently with love I wait for the atonement. Patiently with love, compassion, understanding, I wait for the resurrection, patiently with patience, with love, with understanding, I wait at the separation of end and the truth to manifest. I Am the truth. I Am the light, when love is given freely without expectations; when love is lived with truth and wisdom; when love is that which one seeks to give, then the separation ceases and atonement begins. Follow Love is the Seed on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube for the most recent updates, announcements, sessions, quotes, videos and more. Part of the purpose of all souls is to understand the three supreme truths of love, thought and free will. Each is its own separate truth and gift, yet they can’t function or be of benefit without the other. And upon entering this life, you are forged with these three gifts to experience, understand, utilize and ultimately to empower you to create the life of your choosing.
The Gift of Love Love Functions and Guides. Love is at the seed of who and what you are. You are a part of the light of pure divinity. And this light is the radiant, omnipotent light of love. This love the foundation that functions and guides your life here and now, and beyond this life; and understanding, even a fraction of, what this love is and how it directly benefits your life, can completely shift your perspective and open up your connection to the answers and guidance that you may seek. So then, how does one “understand” love? There is no one answer, but a place to begin is through gratitude. Through gratitude, there is an inherent acceptance of the divine love to which you are infinitely connected. Through gratitude, you don’t have to “understand” love to allow it to work miracles in your life. Through thoughts, actions and feelings of gratitude, you effortlessly allow the love from which you were created to function and guide your life. Understanding love is reaching within and expressing without, that love forged upon each, freely giving to all. - Monday, February 1, 1982, Session 106 The Gift of Thought “Thought” Creates. “Thought” can be both powerful and empowering. Thoughts can either work for you or hold you back from the learning, growing and fulfilling of what you must do in this life for the evolution of your soul and for the pure enjoyment of living in this life. Thoughts are powerful; they create each experience and, in fact, make each experience what it is. Like-thoughts attract. Positive loving thoughts grow, and conversely, negative thoughts attract negative thoughts and negative energy. Thoughts take on a life of their own and “live” within you, even beyond this life. So, if you carry a negative thought vibration and never release it or resolve it, once you leave this life, the energy of that thought still remains within you and will be carried to the next experiences of learning. The sooner you can harness the power of your thoughts in a way that they become of complete service to you, the better, and more empowered you will be. The empowerment comes when “thought” is a mere tool to living out a life filled with purpose and in the joy of creating. “In understanding that thought creates all, a major step in creating is reached.” Notebook #17, Page 5 The Gift of Free Will Free Will Expresses. In the spiritual sense, free will is a truth you are forged with upon coming into this life. Free will is an enormous gift. You can create any reality and make any moment what you desire through choice and expression, through action. And conversely, you have the free will to make choices that are not of your highest benefit. The empowerment that comes from this gift of free will is when you begin to understand that this free will is really an opportunity for you to make wholly beneficial conscious decisions based on the foundation, or the seed, of love. When you do this, you lovingly combine the highest aspects of who you are and your divine journey, with your personal life in form in this Earth experience. Given that thought creates, free will expresses and love is the foundation that functions and guides, you have all that you need, in companionship with divine guiding presence, to create a life that is fulfilling you—the personality living out this life—and your soul. The justice that each possess is the love of God that through forged free will all will individually and collectively create their destiny and path to the truth. The truth is that love is the seed of all creation, of all being, of all. - Notebook #23, Page 15 --- You are free to share this or any part of this article as long as you link back to and credit this blog article. - www.LoveIsTheSeed.com. “Patience is love. Patience is understanding. Patience is accepting that all things in the evolution of the soul are infinite existence of God. Patience is giving and receiving with love, living and believing in love.” Except from Chapter 1 – Love; Notebook #35 Page 15, LoveistheSeed.com
The Meaning of Patience The meaning of patience in Spirit and as Soul is more than just that ‘thing’ that we try to have more of. Patience is connected to love, understanding, acceptance and faith. In this Earthly life, it comes into play when we want something and yet no control over the timing of it and/or no control over another. Patience comes into play when the present moment is not what we would like it to be. We all would like to think of ourselves as patient. We all know that we should be more patient, yet in this current world of instant gratification and answers at our fingertips, patience is a quality that now takes more practice. It takes...work. Patience can be something as simple as waiting in a store line with only one cashier and three people ahead of you with what looks to be their months-worth of groceries. And patience is as complex as a woman who desires so badly to have a child, yet after months or years of trying, has yet to conceive, or conceives and then loses the pregnancy, and wonders when her “time” will be. In both situations, it is the timing of the desired outcome that is unknown and that leaves us devoid of patience that we once had. A Test of Faith In the samples above, we must have faith. There must be faith that we will still be able to accomplish everything on our daily wish list despite having to wait in line, and for the woman, there must be faith that there is a "right timing" to conceive and an acceptance not knowing what that timing is. So where does this leave us? Are we simply to surrender to this moment of feeling unfulfilled or angry or agitated? Well, yes — to some degree. If the circumstances presented are beyond our control, then we must find a way to accept it, or at least distract ourselves from the unfulfilled or agitated feelings that arise from the undesired present moment. Patience as a Gift When we run short on patience, negative emotions arise that in no way serve us. It is an opportunity though, a gift, to empower us to regain patience — to bring us back to that love, understanding and acceptance to which Spirit calls us back. When we are patient, there is a gentle stillness within that benefits our body and mind and benefits our direct surroundings. You will see this working in your life as it becomes easier to maintain patience. Children are great gifts to help us practice. Whether they are 4 years old and insist on doing just one more thing before leaving the house — and that's after 15 minutes of trying to persuade them to put on their shoes, or whether they are 16 years old and have just done something completely against common sense, they are a gift because they allow us to practice patience, which serves us beyond our expectations when we give it a chance. So, how then does one practice having more patience and begin to transform one’s life for the better?
