Understanding Consciousness
The subject of consciousness can be quite foreign for many of us. It is not taught in school, nor is it a subject that often comes up in our daily lives. There are a select few people who encourage us to practice connecting to and increasing our level of consciousness, and a select few who teach us how understanding the power of our consciousness can elevate us to create a life of greater joy here on Earth in form, and how it can empower us as soul to evolve exponentially closer to our “wholeness/completeness” with the One Supreme Consciousness, the “I am” of consciousness, God—the clear enlightenment of love that created all—of mercy, grace, compassion, and wisdom—of which we are all a part. Defining Consciousness Consciousness, in simple terms is the state of being aware. The complexity arises when we understand that our awareness extends far beyond what we can comprehend at this point in our evolution. There are levels of our consciousness that we will never become aware of. But it is there. Our consciousness can reach us to the greatest heights when in moments where we are absorbed in pure, silent awareness, fully aware, present and connected. Imagine a time where you felt pure joy and love, as with the birth of your child. And in contrast, a lack of consciousness—lack of awareness of our thoughts, actions, and our connection to the Divine—can plunge us to the greatest depths. Imagine a time where your thoughts took over, triggering deep emotional pain of which you see no way out. Infinitely, consciousness does indeed always exist. Consciousness in Evolution Our level of consciousness is dependent upon what is within our soul’s development. In the evolution of each soul, the level of consciousness can only be at the point at which we have learned, and we are in a constant state of learning. We can figuratively say that we (soul) as consciousness are the fetus of Divine Guiding Presence–God. We are in a constant state of maturation into wholeness. Our goal is to raise our level of consciousness—raise our awareness of our own existence, thoughts, surroundings, etc. This integration process is a part of our Greater Self and always connected to and a part of One Consciousness, the Supreme Consciousness, the I am that I am. --- You are free to share this or any part of this article as long as you link back to and credit this blog article. - www.LoveIsTheSeed.com. --- You are free to share this or any part of this article as long as you link back to and credit this blog article. - www.LoveIsTheSeed.com.
