Is it possible for God to lead us to our desired level of achievement on Earth...and if not, then how do we achieve what we want?
It was expressed within the sessions in Love is the Seed (non-affiliate link) from these souls and Wise Ones that while God is here to guide us in whatever good that we wish to achieve, that it is up to us, the individual, to take the steps, first, toward what we desire to achieve, and then allow what we can’t yet do, to be fulfilled in the most wholly beneficial way by and through God.
An excerpt from Notebook #17 that is shared in Love is the Seed references this aspect of our constant desire for achievement to be a fine motivator in this life, but it becomes problematic when we view our lack of achievement as the “cards stacked against us” and we give up on taking action, and look to God to make it all happen.
As they say in the book, we look to “That divine God, that superhuman who is going to lead us to achievement and happiness.”
Yet what we must realize is that in infinite love, there is no achieving necessary, the love it right here.
What this means is we are given the empowerment and infinite connection to love in this life; we are created from this love, there is no separation, and we are also given thought and free will.
With these three supreme gifts of love thought and free will, we are given the creative empowerment to achieve in the direction of what we desire, and the rest of what we are unable to go, we will be led by God in the most beneficial way.
Giving up on achieving does not lead to anyone or to God stepping in to fulfill what we desire to achieve. However, there is beauty in surrendering to a different plan that might be in motion for our benefit.
Giving up is not the same as surrendering.
When we surrender, we say, "I will continue to pursue what I wish to achieve until the greater plan is revealed to me."
What surrender does is it allows us to do two important things:
It may not always look exactly like how we envision it, but it can nonetheless be incredible.
